“I talked to Liverpool, but we’ve reached no agreement,” Grujic told journalists after Red Star’s match with Cukarick.
“I’m still a Red Star player, so I’ll try to respect my club, the fans and the general public. But I still think I’ll have to choose a better environment where I’ll have the chance to play and work with the best coaches in the best possible facilities.
“I’ll definitely stay here until the end of Champions League qualifying [next summer].”
