La Repubblica suggests that Frosinone coach Fabio Grosso could head to Turin to replace Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus.

The Bianconeri’s 1-0 loss to Milan on Sunday confirmed that the club wouldn’t finish in the top four this season, meaning they will not take part in the Champions League next season. This is a disastrous outcome for the club, who are now expected to make sweeping changes in the summer.

One person whose Juventus future is in serious doubt is Allegri; the Italian coach has not particularly impressed since returning for his second spell and many hope to see the back of the 55-year-old in the coming months, keen to see a new era start in the Piedmont capital.

As suggested by La Repubblica, Juventus are seriously considering dismissing Allegri in the summer, despite the fact that he is still contracted to the club until 2025 with a salary of around €7m net per season.

One coach they’re reportedly considering appointing is Grosso, who guided Frosinone back up to Serie A with his impressive work in the second division this season.
