Antoine Griezmann has a mixed prediction for the Champions League clash between Inter and Atletico Madrid. ‘The players will love it, but fans might be a little bored.’
The two sides have been drawn against each other in the Champions League Round of 16, with the first leg at San Siro on February 20 and the return leg at the Wanda Metropolitano on March 13.
“I think the game might be a bit boring for the fans, because these are two evenly-matched teams who do a lot of work off the ball,” Griezmann told Diario AS.
“I expect the players to love it on the pitch, but the fans might be a little bored.”
Atletico Madrid had until this week a perfect home record in all competition this season, while the Nerazzurri are currently top of the Serie A table with the most solid defensive record.
