Gregucci leaves Italy for Salernitana

Angelo Gregucci has officially left his role as assistant to Italy CT Roberto Mancini and will be the new Coach of Salernitana.

The 54-year-old has worked with Mancini for many years as his assistant at Manchester City, Inter and Zenit St Petersburg.

He was part of the staff appointed when Mancini took over in May and his contract had been due to expire in July 2020.

However, today the FIGC announced the contract had been terminated by mutual consent.

Gregucci will be appointed the new Coach of Serie B strugglers Salernitana.

It is a return to the Stadio Arechi, as he was already their Coach from October 2004 to June 2005.
