La Gazzetta dello Sport insists Manchester United-owned winger Mason Greenwood is among Juventus‘ priorities for next season and can join the Bianconeri for a lower price than his real worth.

Juventus want to raise the quality of their team in 2024-25 and have targeted several potential attacking reinforcements for the summer. Gazzetta confirms that Greenwood, currently on loan to Getafe from Manchester United, is a primary name on Cristiano Giuntoli’s agenda.

According to Monday’s printed edition of the pink paper on page 21, the Bianconeri director is entirely convinced about the qualities of the versatile English winger, who is not expected to remain at Old Trafford next season. The Englishman was charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour in October 2022. Man United suspended him and even if the charges were later dropped, Gazzetta reports that the Premier League giants are unwilling to keep the 22-year-old at the club.

Juventus can sign Man Utd winger Greenwood for less than he’s worth

‘Many at Man United no longer want to see him,’ wrote Gazzetta on Monday, ‘therefore a permanent transfer in the summer is more than a possibility.’

The pink paper reports that Man United’s desire to offload the player would allow Juventus to sign Greenwood for a lower fee than his actual value.

Other players Juventus are monitoring for next season are Atalanta‘s Teun Koopmeiners, Udinese‘s Lazar Samardzic, Martín Zubimendi (Real Sociedad) and Kenneth Taylor (Ajax).

Greenwood, 22, has ten goals and six assists in 31 appearances across all competitions with Getafe this season.
