“Roma have a different kind of attitude,” the midfielder told Tele Radio Stereo on Monday afternoon.
“They seem to enjoy themselves when they play football and they gave the impression that they believe in their ability.
“They also had a sporting nastiness which leads me to believe that they will be the revelation of the season.”
Livorno, now back in the top flight, recovered from their opening day setback by then collecting a 4-1 triumph at Sassuolo.
“That win could have unblocked us as we have a lot of players who are tasting Serie A for the first time,” the Italian added.
“I think we can cause a lot of sides problems this term.”
Livorno will entertain Catania this weekend.
