FIGC President Gabriele Gravina says the new FIGC ruling on Juventus is the ‘best result’ for Italian football: ‘Now we can look to the future with more serenity.’

A FIGC Court accepted a plea bargain between the Bianconeri and Prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné on Tuesday. The Serie A giants have therefore avoided a further points deduction by getting a fine in the region of €700,000.

Former Juventus President Andrea Agnelli has refused the agreement with Chiné and will go on trial on June 15.

“There is a time to ascertain and make judgements, but also one to look at the future with more serenity, by respecting rules,” FIGC President Gravina told ANSA.

“Our rules provide this latest act, it was auspicated and shared and it was the best result for Italian football to find a moment of serenity.”
