FIGC President Gabriele Gravina hopes Juventus won’t be banned from Serie A and Champions League, but warns: ‘There are rules to be followed.’

Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only three clubs that have refused to withdraw from the Super League. UEFA had opened a disciplinary proceeding against the three clubs, but it was suspended earlier last week.

However, Gravina refused to rule out Juventus’ exclusion from Serie A or the Champions League.

“I hope it’s not going to happen, we’ll see what the competent bodies decide. But, one thing is certain: there are rules to be followed if we are to stay together, both at a national and international level.”

Gravina threatens to exclude Juventus from Serie A

Gravina had already warned Juventus could have been banned from Serie A hadn’t they withdrew from the competition, which was launched by 12 elite European clubs in April but was abandoned by eight of them within 48 hours.
