The Fiuli rested last week, as their game with Atalanta was postponed due to the weather, and Udinese arrive in Turin on a run of three games without defeat in Serie A.

“Torino are similar to us,” Gotti said at a press conference. “Every Serie A match could be a trap. I’m sorry we didn’t play last Sunday, despite the absences, I had an excellent feeling.”
Udinese beat Lazio 3-1 last time and look like they are coming together nicely, as Gotti’s squad is close to complete again after difficult months with injuries and COVID.
“I hope we are. We are recovering players who are starting to train continuously, even if there will be absentees tomorrow,” Gotti added.
“The real difference is not in the players who are available, but in having them in their best conditions.
“For some, we will have to wait a little longer.”
Ignacio Pussetto and Fernando Forestieri gave Lazio problems last time, but the latter will not be available against Torino.
Gotti revealed Gerard Deulofeu could take his place in the side.
“It could be a solution both from the start or during the game,” he said. Torino are similar to us in some respects.
“Beyond the game system that will certainly require some adaptation with respect to both attacking and defensive outputs, the game concepts of coach [Marco] Giampaolo are clear.
“We have known each other for many years.”
Udinese are 10th ahead of Serie A Week 11, four points above the Granata at 18th.
