Luca Gotti is satisfied with Udinese’s victory against Genoa, but saw ‘too many mistakes’ from his players.
The Zebrette have seven points in three Serie A games after today’s victory.
“I am clearly satisfied with the three points, but I didn’t like the game. I appreciate the team’s spirit but we made too many mistakes. It was very hot today, but the same is true for our opponents,” Gotti told DAZN.
“There were times when we found solutions easily but aside from [Marco] Silvestri, all the other players were the same as last season, so some situations should have been easier to read.
“Those who came off the bench helped us and I got a little bit scared when Silvestri made that save in the final minutes.”
Udinese host Napoli at the Dacia Arena on Monday, September 20.
