"Tomorrow's match is of particular importance, but then every game is important. Let's look game after game and not at the wider fixture list. I expect a Samp side that is very well balanced and is starting to express their potential," said Gotti in his press conference.
"Marassi is one of the most beloved stadiums in Italy for the atmosphere the fans create. It is wrong to think that this will be an easy match."
Gotti then gave an update on the status of Rodrigo De Paul and Antonin Barak, both of whom have been struggling with injuries as of late.
"Barak is an important player and is training with intensity. De Paul is also doing very well. We have to put him in the best condition to get the best De Paul on the pitch.
"The best balance for the side right now is with two strikers, but I didn't say in the arc of the game that we wouldn't change the system."
Udinese are 12th in Serie A going into this weekend's game, whilst Sampdoria lie in 18th.
