Luca Gotti understands Sinisa Mihajlovic’s frustration but believes Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski bumped into Rodrigo Becao.

The Bologna coach complained about Udinese‘s late equaliser in their 1-1 draw at the Dacia Arena.

Mihajlovic believes Udinese defender Becao fouled Skorupski, preventing him from catching the ball just before Beto’s goal.

“I didn’t like the game, we were too sloppy in the first half and I said it to my players during the break. However, the second half was different,” Gotti told DAZN.

“I understand Mihajlovic, but I don’t want to replicate. I know he’s disappointed about a draw with a man up, but the first impression I have is that Skorupski bumped into Becao, not the other way around. Some incidents can make a difference.

“We conceded too much to Bologna and we committed mistakes which we need to analyse,” the coach added.”

Beto, 23, scored his second goal in a row after netting against Sampdoria before the break.

“Beto has impressed me since I saw him train with us,” said Gotti.

“He has something special, something different from the others.”
