According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Nerazzurri have refused another bid from the Bundesliga side for their German defender, this time in the region of €10m.
The youngster was impressive as he helped his team reach the Champions League for the first time in their history and was an integral part of the side that reached the Coppa Italia Final.

However, the defender’s contract runs down next season and the Bergamaschi won’t want to lose him on a free transfer, as the player has claimed in the past that he would love to one day play in the Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old joined the Orobici from Dutch side Heracles Almelo in 2017 for just under €1m, scoring five times in 62 appearances during his spell at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
Meanwhile, as well as Leverkusen, Napoli and Roma had also been reportedly interested in left-footer in the past.
