“I have always said that I would like a move to a top club in Germany,” Gosens told Rheinische Post. “This doesn’t mean that I’m at Alatanta and in Bergamo against my will, nor that my farewell is imminent.
“But if a door opens, well, I would try to seize that opportunity.”
The left-back continued to speak about his relationship with football and distanced himself from the business aspect of the sport.
“I love football, but the business around it is not my world,” he added. “There are many aspects of this business that I can’t identify myself with.
“It’s mainly about humanity, about empathy. I often have the feeling that we players are not seen as people, but objects with a price to pay.”
Gosens has played 10 games in Serie A this term, with three goals and two assists.
