Atalanta fullback Robin Gosens has said scoring a goal at Anfield Road is a dream come true: ‘Liverpool are the best team in the world.’
Gosens scored a goal against the Reds in Atalanta’s 2-0 away in Champions League on Wednesday.
The German had already scored in Liverpool in 2017, against Everton, in a Europa League clash.
“I am really happy for the goal and for the win,” the 26-year-old told Atalanta’s official TV.

"Maybe there is a magic atmpsphere in Liverpool, something that pushes us to go the extra mile.
“I had the feeling we could accomplish something extraordinary. We made it, we won 2-0 against the best team in the world,” he added.
“It was a crazy night, I am happy I was named MVP, scoring a goal at Anfield is a dream come true, I think we gave Atalanta fans who followed us from Bergamo some incredible emotions.”
