Robin Gosens went down in severe pain clutching his shoulder after putting Inter 2-1 up against Lazio at San Siro on Sunday afternoon.

The German international connected with a deep lifted ball in from Romelu Lukaku in acrobatic fashion to put the ball past Ivan Provedel in the Lazio net, although landed awkwardly and appeared to be in deep discomfort.

The Nerazzurri wing-back fell on his side with his arm extended and was unable to lift himself off the deck as his teammates celebrated going ahead.

Immediately, the injury looked as if it could potentially be a dislocated shoulder as Inter physios made an immediate assessment on the pitch.
Gosesn was unable to continue and was replaced by Stefan de Vrij with just under five minutes to go of normal time.

Inter went 3-1 ahead courtesy of second half substitute Lautaro Martinez shortly afterwards, sparking excitement among Napoli fans as they move within touching distance of the Serie A title.
