Robin Gosens has admitted he would leave Atalanta if Schalke come knocking but claimed he’s “very happy” in Bergamo.
The wingback has impressed at Atalanta since his move from Heracles and the performances this term has reportedly given him attention from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is open about his love for Schalke in his native Germany and said he would leave Bergamo to play in Gelsenkirchen.

The 25-year-old is open about his love for Schalke in his native Germany and said he would leave Bergamo to play in Gelsenkirchen.
“I still want to play for Schalke in the Bundesliga,” he told Bergamo TV. “If they want me, I’ll go. It’s my team.
“I’ve always said it, not just now.”
Gosens’ renewed his contract with the Dea and the his new deal expires in June 2022. The left-back claimed “it’s a strong sign from the club”.
“I have renewed my contract,” he added. “I’m very happy, it’s a strong sign from the club. It means I’m doing well.”
“I never said I would leave in six months, if they call me in the future, I’ll go. For now, I’m fine here."
