Atalanta wing-back Robin Gosens says Gian Piero Gasperini “asks a lot of us, but if you trust him he can make you a better player.”
Gosens gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport, and talked about La Dea’s Champions League run.
“I never expected to get the last 16 of the Champions League with this shirt,” Gosens told La Gazzetta.
“Gasperini really asks a lot of us and it isn’t easy to give it to him all the time, but if you listen to him he will make you become a better player.”

La Dea face Valencia tonight in the first leg of their last 16 clash, and Gosens spoke about facing the La Liga outfit.
“When we learned that it would be Valencia that we would play I thought about many things: from the fact that it would be a pleasure to play against a big club of European football and the possibility to make it into the quarter final.
“I think that the Spanish team are the most beatable team that we could’ve drawn.
“After the draw against Man City, I was sure we were out 100%.”
