Robin Gosens dislocated his shoulder after scoring a key goal in Inter’s win over Lazio and he’ll now be forced out of action for a number of upcoming games.

The 28-year-old German wing back netted the Nerazzurri’s second goal in the 83rd minute of their match with the Biancocelesti, giving them a crucial 2-1 lead with less than 10 minutes to play. His acrobatic effort was impressive, but an awkward fall saw him leave the pitch in agony after dislocating his shoulder.

Gosens has struggled for consistent playing time under Simone Inzaghi at Inter, seeing just 970 minutes of action across his 28 Serie A appearances this season.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gosens has managed to avoid surgical intervention on his shoulder but will still be sidelined for at least 10 days.

The German wing back is expected to miss Inter’s games against Hellas Verona and Roma, as well as the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash with Milan.
