Gianluca Mancini can breath a sigh of relief following tests after he suffered an injury in the loss to Bodo/Glimt.
The 25-year-old Italian defender was taken off in the 69th minute of the 2-1 defeat to the Norwegian side in yesterday’s Europa Conference League clash after a painful challenge for the ball. He suffered a right knee issue and was immediately brought off the pitch.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Mancini only suffered a knock to his right knee and so will be rested for the upcoming league clash against Salernitana. He’s expected to return for the second leg against Bodo/Glimt at the Stadio Olimpico.
No problems either for Tammy Abraham, with muscle injuries for the Englishman being ruled out following yesterday’s European defeat.
The Giallorossi will have to dig deep in the return leg in Rome in order to overcome the Norwegian side as they have long been considered one of the favourites to win the competition this season.
