Injured Juventus pair Paul Pogba and Dusan Vlahovic did well during today’s in-house friendly with the Next Gen squad, suggesting a return to action is just around the corner.

Pogba returned to the Bianconeri in the summer and signed a four-year deal with the club, but things quickly went awry after he suffered a knee injury during the pre-season tour in the United States. Pogba underwent an operation in early September and has been sidelined ever since.

Vlahovic started the season well for Juventus but suffered an adductor injury in the run-up to the World Cup. He made two appearances at the tournament in Qatar and returned with a groin issue, forcing him to miss Juventus’ first four league games of 2023.

As highlighted by TMW, both Pogba and Vlahovic did well in the in-house friendly with the Juventus Next Gen squad, with each of them finding the back of the net and showing positive signs after their period on the sidelines.

Both are now expected to join Massimiliano Allegri’s squad for the upcoming Serie A clash with Monza.
