Mario Gomez has ruled out a summer move away from Fiorentina by saying he intends to respect his contract.
The German international has scored only four League goals this season and has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
But in an interview with Stuttgarter Nachrichten, the 29-year-old stated his desire to respect his current deal.
“I’m a part of Fiorentina and I have a contract here for another two years,” Gomez has said.

The striker also commented on his inconsistent season and the upcoming Europa League semi-final second leg against Sevilla.
“There was a long period when I was out of form because of injuries, I had a slow start.
“I still scored in important games and now I'm in good form, I’m fit and healthy.
“It will be very difficult against Sevilla, but it’s doable.”
