TMW reports Gomez travels in a private plane from Italy to Spain today and will undergo the required medical before the operation can be completed.
The report reveals he will then sign a deal until June 2024.
Reporters waited for him outside his house and Gomez stopped. When the reporters asked if he had a message to Bergamo, the captain replied: "I can't now, later. There will be time."
