Despite interest from Milan, Papu Gomez’s agent assures he is ‘doing well at Sevilla and wants to stay’ this summer.

The 33-year-old Argentine made the move from Atalanta in January for €5m plus up to €3m in performance-related bonuses.

He has already been linked with a return to Serie A, where he spent most of his career with Catania and then Atalanta.

However, Marca assure Sevilla haven’t the slightest intention of letting Papu go, while his agent also rules out an imminent switch.

“Papu Gomez is doing well at Sevilla and wants to stay there,” Giuseppe Riso told the Spanish paper.

He scored three goals with one assist in 18 Liga appearances for the club.
