Atalanta star Alejandro Gomez was named Serie A MVP for the month of September. The delivery of the award will take place before Atalanta-Sampdoria on Saturday.
“Atalanta's striker Alejandro Gomez has been awarded the Most Valuable Player for the month of September in the Serie A TIM 2020/2021,” the statement of the Lega Calcio reads.
“The delivery of the award will take place on Saturday 24th October, before the match Atalanta-Sampdoria.”

Gomez, 32, scored three goals and delivered two assists in the first two Serie A games of Atalanta this season which were played in September against Torino and Lazio.
