“It’s a shame, as we did really well tonight, attacked them early and had many scoring opportunities,” Papu told Mediaset Premium.

“It’s a shame, as we did really well tonight, attacked them early and had many scoring opportunities,” Papu told Mediaset Premium.

“Their goalkeeper was excellent this evening and the only thing we were missing tonight was the goal. Donnarumma was really impressive, as it’s not easy at the age of 16 to wear the Milan jersey.

“It wasn’t simple to play like this at San Siro, but I am happy with the performance.”

Gomez was booked for simulation when he went down under a Davide Calabria challenge.

“It could well have been a penalty and I didn’t dive.”
