Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini confirms he is ‘very happy’ to be joining Tottenham Hotspur on loan with option to buy.
The shot-stopper was spotted in Milan today and spoke to Sky Sport Italia.
He was asked how happy he was at the move and the response was: “Very happy.”
This will be a loan move with option to buy for a total €15m, but there is also a clause included that means the option will become an obligation to buy after he makes his 20th competitive appearance in the Tottenham jersey.
Gollini had the first part of his medical today, will complete the tests tomorrow and then fly to London in order to sign the contract.
It represents a return to England for Gollini, who spent time in the Manchester United academy, then had a spell at Aston Villa.
