Fiorentina announce that goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini will not take part in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Verona, as he sustained a knee injury during the dismal Europa League performance.

The shot-stopper, on loan from Atalanta after last season’s spell at Tottenham Hotspur, was at least partly at fault for all the goals when losing 3-0 to Istanbul Basaksehir on Friday evening.

He was set to be dropped in favour of Pietro Terracciano anyway, but Gollini is now also ruled out through a bruise to the knee that he sustained in Turkey.

Fiorentina are also missing suspended centre-back Igor, while Nikola Milenkovic, Dodo and Gaetano Castrovilli are injured.

The good news for coach Vincenzo Italiano is that striker Nico Gonzalez and midfielder Szymon Zurkowski are available, although it’s not clear if they are in a position to start the match.

Fiorentina squad: Amrabat, Barak, Bianco, Biraghi, Bonaventura, Cerofolini, Duncan, Favasuli, Nico Gonzalez, Ikone, Jovic, Kouame, Krastev, Maleh, Mandragora, Martinez Quarta, Cabral, Ranieri, Saponara, Sottil, Terracciano, Terzic, Venuti, Zurkowski
