Marco Materazzi believes Mario Balotelli’s return to Milan is a ‘golden opportunity’ for the striker.
The 2006 World Cup winner played with SuperMario when they were both at Inter, and speaks highly of the 25-year-old.
“I’m happy for him, because he’s like a younger brother to me,” Materazzi told Corriere Spione when asked about Balotelli.
“I know how he is as a person, and I wouldn’t say this is his last chance, but it’s a golden opportunity which must be exploited.

“I’m sure [Milan Coach] Sinisa [Mihajlovic] will recreate that feeling he couldn’t find with the Liverpool manager [Brendan Rodgers].
“I hope with all my heart that he [Balotelli] will have a great season – but finish behind Inter – and go to the European Championships.”
