Inter President Steven Zhang was criticised by a small group of fans before an institutional lunch with Barcelona directors today: ‘Go home!’

Inter have been forced to operate with a reduced budget after the COVID pandemic selling some of their most exciting assets, including Achraf Hakimi, Romelu Lukaku, Andrea Pinamonti and Cesare Casadei.

Fans are increasingly unhappy also because of the team’s poor results this season. Simone Inzaghi’s side has lost five games from 10 across all competitions and pressure is high ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Today, a group of fans criticised Zhang upon his arrival at a restaurant in Milan city centre where he’d met Barça executives in the usual institutional lunch organised by UEFA.

People shouting ‘Zhang go home’ can be heard in a video published by Tuttomercatoweb.

Zhang didn’t react and made his way to the restaurant.

The latest reports in Italy suggest Suning are looking for a potential partner to share Inter’s expenses or a group interested in acquiring a majority stake in the club.

  1. Go home Zhang. You’re a horrible owner that doesn’t have a clue about football.

    #InzaghiOut
    #ZhangOut

  2. CALMAAA!!!

Many folks out there will accuse the fan/s of being racist. Look its Italy so what do you expect. For a G7 nation to have worse infrastructure than Myanmar, Congo and Venezuela sums it up. Do not want foreign investments, build your own economy again.
