Assane Gnoukouri has been forced to withdraw from the Inter squad to face Sparta Prague, with Yuto Nagatomo replacing him.

Coach Stefano Pioli had named an 18-man squad for the match, featuring youngsters such as Loris Zonta, Eloge Yao and Andrea Pinamonti.

It was also expected that 20-year-old Gnoukouri would make his fifth Europa League appearance of the season, but he has been forced to withdraw.

“Gnoukouri has been forced to leave the squad because of a sprain to his left ankle,” the Beneamata announced on their Twitter account.

“Yuto Nagatomo is called up in his place.”
