Watch as Italy international Willy Gnonto scores a well-taken first-time finish for Leeds United, as he hopes to get back onto Luciano Spalletti’s radar.

The versatile winger will not turn 21 until November 5, so he is still eligible to play both for the senior and Under-21 teams.

Although he has 13 senior caps and one goal, he has dropped down the pecking order since the move to Leeds and is now generally only called up by the Under-21 team.

His last senior appearance for the Azzurri was over a year ago, in September 2023.

Gnonto will be hoping that his solid start to the season with Leeds will help him remain on the Italy radar, as he has two goals and an assist in seven Championship appearances.

Today he fired first-time into the top corner against Coventry City and also assisted Joel Piroe.
