Gladbach ‘proud’ of Juve draws

Borussia Monchengladbach players Ibrahima Traore and Granit Xhaka “proud” of Champions League draws with Juventus.

The Germans are still bottom of the group, but these were the first two points they earned in the Champions League this season.

They drew 0-0 in Turin and 1-1 on home turf after Hernanes saw red.

“Unfortunately we couldn’t get another goal at the end, but we can be proud of this performance,” said Traore.

Captain Xhaka had a similar view to his teammate on these results.

“In the end we have now played last season’s Champions League Finalists twice and emerged with draws. That’s something to be proud of.”
