The Cristiano Giuntoli era is about to begin at Juventus, as the former Napoli director of sport is expected to sign the contract tomorrow.

He had been pushing for the exit ever since the Scudetto was secured, knowing that he wanted to try this new experience in Turin.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis finally agreed to terminate the contract a year early with just hours to spare before the June 30 deadline.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Giuntoli will put pen to paper on the five-year contract with Juventus on Tuesday.

He can then begin leading their transfer strategy for the summer, overseeing the work already done by director Giovanni Manna.

There will also be a meeting with Manna to pass on the discussions he already had with coach Max Allegri.

Tuttosport maintain that Giuntoli will have a larger role also taking control over the coaching and medical staff as well as transfer plans and negotiations.
