Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli joked about Nico Gonzalez’s poor fitness during the Bianconeri’s Christmas party last night: ‘He’s not going to get injured, right?’
Gonzalez was invited on stage to sing a song in front of his teammates and Juventus employees, and club director Giuntoli welcomed him with a joke that made the attendees laugh out loud.
Nico was asked to sing while standing on a chair, but Giuntoli asked: ‘He’s not going to get injured, right?’
Nico Gonzalez, 26, is a new Juventus signing but has only made eight appearances this season, scoring two goals.
He returned to action last week for a Serie A match against Venezia after spending over two months on the treatment table for a muscle injury.
