Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will meet with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis today to try and finalise his exit in order to make the move to Juventus.

In the closing stages of the season, reports began to emerge that the 51-year-old Italian director was keen to leave the Campania capital this summer, wanting to play a leading role in the post-Andrea Agnelli era in Turin.

Still contracted to Napoli until June 2024, De Laurentiis hasn’t been keen on the idea of seeing Giuntoli leave this summer, but an agreement could be reached on the basis of renounced wages and bonuses, with up to €5m possibly being waived.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Giuntoli and De Laurentiis will meet today to try and finalise his exit from Napoli, allowing him to finally making the move to Juventus.

Journalist Nicola Balice and Corriere dello Sport claim that a green light has already been given, allowing the sporting director to officially sign with the Bianconeri tomorrow.
