“We are coming out of a difficult situation that we were not accustomed to, but I saw vast improvements in the most recent performance in terms of intensity and quality of football,” Giuntoli told Sky Sport Italia.
Demme signed the contract moving from RB Leipzig this afternoon, while Lobotka of Celta Vigo had his medical this morning.
“Demme is a midfielder who brings order, sits deep and can move the ball around from there. The other lad who we are very close to can also play in that deep-lying role, but as a mezz’ala too, so we are filling two empty slots in the squad.”
