“Talks are ongoing with the club, we are working, we’ll see who will have more patience,” Giuntoli told DAZN.
“We have a great relationship with the club and with the player, we are evaluating a few things.”
Fabian Ruiz has tested positive for COVID and, therefore he is out of action against Fiorentina.

“We are not happy, but we must accept it,” Giuntoli said.
“We want to qualify for the Champions League, we are all there, there is no time to prepare games, sometimes you prepare matches with a player who eventually is not available,” he continued.
“Balance is needed, we must be calm when analysing victories and defeats.
“[Gennaro] Gattuso is using a stick and carrot approach, he is very demanding with himself, therefore with the team.”
