Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini has claimed Inter loanee Radja Nainggolan wants to stay in Sardinia and hopes to reach an agreement with the Nerazzurri ‘as soon as possible’.
The former Belgium international returned to Cagliari on loan ahead of 2019-20 and helped the Rossoblu to their best start since the Scudetto winners in 1969-70.
But the Sardinians struggled in the second half of the campaign and eventually finished 14th in Serie A.

Giulini reveals Cagliari are doing their utmost to keep the former Roma midfielder at the Sardegna Arena, but will need help from Inter.
“There's the will of the player, the coach and me,” he told L’Unione Sarda. “It all depends on our meeting with Inter, they will have to meet us in the middle.
“We would like to resolve this situation as soon as possible.”
