The Casteddu patron has sent an open letter addressed to the Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora, the President of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina, the chief of the Region of Sardinia Christian Solinas and the Lega Serie A boss Paolo Dal Pino.
“In Sardinia the contagion is equal to zero, let us welcome our fans back to the Arena,” he wrote.

“The national and regional institutions can consider the idea of allowing professional sporting competitions with limited access to the public, at least in regions with an infection rate of zero, in line with the protocol to be adopted and aimed at guaranteeing the protection of the spectators’ health and safety.”
Cagliari resume with an away game against Hellas Verona tomorrow, and their first home game after the break comes in the third round post break against Torino on June 27.
