Oliver Giroud is increasingly on track to leave Milan in the summer as he looks to make the jump to the MLS, with two cities in particular looking likely destinations.

The 37-year-old French striker has just over three months left on his contract with the Rossoneri, and he’s still not made a final decision yet regarding his future, appreciating his time in the Lombardy capital but also tempted by the idea of a new adventure in America.

Giroud has continued to prove a productive striker for Milan this term, netting 14 goals and providing nine assists in 35 appearances across all competitions, acting as a reference point in the team’s frontline.

Page four of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Giroud is increasingly appreciating the idea of trying out a new start in the MLS, liking the idea of ending up in New York or Los Angeles as negotiations intensify behind the scenes.

The 37-year-old hasn’t made a decision yet but is now looking likely to leave Milan on a free transfer in the summer.

Milan have already identified a number of possible options to reinforce their frontline this summer, including Santiago Gimenez, Jonathan David, Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee.
