Olivier Giroud has been linked with a move to Serie A, but the Chelsea striker suggests he’s not going to leave the Blues before the end of the season.

The 2018 France World Cup winner is being linked with a January move to Juventus or Inter, but the Blues’ forward seems happy in London.

"We will see what happens in the next few months, but I just want to keep my efficiency high,” the 34-year-old told Sky Sports UK.

“When I am not on the pitch, I just try to be a part of the team. I really want the best for this team and I really believe we have a big opportunity to win something at Chelsea with this great squad.

“I will just carry on like this and try to keep it up."

According to reports in Italy, Giroud was close to joining Lazio one year ago.

His contract with the Premier League giants expires in June, but the striker is apparently not willing to leave his club before the end of the current campaign.
