Olivier Giroud scored a goal with his first touch of the ball in the Milan jersey, equalising during a friendly away to OGC Nice.
The former Chelsea striker was feeling right at home on French soil and in the Rossoneri jersey, although in this case it was white, because hosts Nice also wear red and black stripes.
Giroud came off the bench at the 61st minute and was celebrating four minutes later, having beaten the defender to get his head to a Samu Castillejo free kick.
It was the ideal start to this new chapter of the France international’s career, after Milan finally prised him away from Chelsea for €1m plus up to another €1m in bonuses.
L’ho detto in una diretta l’altro ieri, quest’anno @_OlivierGiroud_ nr fa più di 15….
