Sebastian Giovinco left Al-Hilal in August and could reportedly return to Toronto FC as a free agent.

Goal.com reports the former Juventus striker has not just visited the Canadian side in recent months, as he has appeared at the stadium during games.

The 34-year-old seems set for a return to Toronto FC as a player, the club he left in 2019 to join Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

Giovinco, who has experiences with Empoli and Parma in Serie A, is capped 23 times by Italy during his career and scored 20 goals in 132 competitive games with Juventus.

He picked up three Scudetti, one Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana during his time with the Italian giants.

The former Italy international joined Toronto FC in February 2015, when he moved to MLS on a free transfer.

He spent four years in Canada and helped the club win MLS in 2016-17, scoring 16 goals in the process, and the fan favourite could be set for a return to the club.

  1. Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought he only won 2 schedetti. He came Conte’s 2nd season and was sold mid way through Allegri’s first.

  2. That’s football-Italia for you they barely do their research in one article about Shevchenko they had him winning 2 champions league with Milan while he only won 1 .
