Sebastian Giovinco and his agent are reportedly in negotiations for a return to MLS club Toronto FC.

It would be a special comeback for the Atomic Ant, who is now 34 years old and a free agent after leaving Al-Hilal in August.

He already represented Toronto FC from February 2015 to January 2019, winning the MLS Cup, the Supporters Shield, three editions of the Canadian Cup and voted MLS MVP.

According to Italian transfer pundit Nicolò Schira, both Giovinco and his agent Andrea Cattoli are already in Toronto.

They are expected to meet with the MLS club over the next few days to finalise the details of a return.

It comes after Sky Sport Italia reported that Toronto FC had made a huge offer to Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne, but he is not looking to America at this moment of his career.

Instead, they turned towards the original Italian talent who lit up the fanbase, the Atomic Ant himself.
