Torino goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet had his Calcioscommesse ban cut from three years and seven months to just 13 months.
His appeal was accepted by the TNAS tribunal this evening.
The Belgian goalkeeper had originally received a ban for three years and seven months in the match-fixing scandal due to his time at Bari.

The Belgian goalkeeper had originally received a ban for three years and seven months in the match-fixing scandal due to his time at Bari.
That length of suspension was confirmed in an initial appeal in July 2013.
Today that was sliced down to just 13 months for Bari-Treviso (May 2008) and Salernitana-Bari” data-scaytid=”7″>Salernitana-Bari (May 2009).
The charges were changed from sporting fraud to simply not alerting authorities to a potential fix.
The reduced ban means Gillet will be available again from August, but will miss the World Cup.
