The former Parma, Milan and Fiorentina striker just turned 38, but already has two management roles under his belt at Rezzato and Pro Vercelli.
He signed a one-year contract with the new iteration of Siena, now called ACN Siena 1904.

Gilardino is yet another member of the Italy squad that won the 2006 World Cup to go into management after Gennaro Gattuso, Pippo Inzaghi, Alessandro Nesta, Fabio Cannavaro and soon also Daniele De Rossi.
