“There were so few risks against Carpi, yet we conceded twice and it ended 2-2, which is proof there are no easy games. We must always be concentrated.”

Gilardino joined late into the transfer window and is yet to find the net for his new club, but could do so tonight against one of his former teams.

“He is in good shape, but all strikers need a goal to hit their stride. I hope his will arrive soon, maybe even against Milan,” added Sorrentino.
