Roma icon Giuseppe Giannini thinks the Scudetto will be contested between his former club and Juventus this season.

The Giallorossi have won all eight League games so far, leaving them five points clear of the Bianconeri and Napoli.

“Roma are going like a train and I think they will be in the title race until the very end,” he told Alfredo Pedullà’s website.

“Juventus will be the scariest rival, while Napoli are one step lower as they don’t convince me as a defensive unit.”

He added: “I think Milan will rise up the table, I’m convinced of that. Actually, they will finish in the top three.”

The Diavolo are eighth in the standings, eight points behind the Champions League zone.

Giannini, 49, is currently in charge of the Lebanon national side. He spent over 15 years as a player with the Giallorossi.
