Despite being bottom of the table with just eight points in 14 rounds, the Granata have kept the faith with their coach ahead of tomorrow’s relegation dogfight with Parma.

“It’s going to be difficult and we need to focus only on this match, because we cannot afford to look beyond that horizon,” said Giampaolo in his press conference.

“There’s very little margin for error, we must learn to live with this pressure. I can feel a different atmosphere in the locker room and the team is growing in its acceptance of responsibility as well as performances on the pitch.”

When asked about the January transfer window, Giampaolo saw more dangers than potential benefits.

“I speak to the President and directors daily, as we are trying to do what is best for Toro. If I see any players are distracted, I will not hesitate to leave them out of the squad.”
